It’s a state

 

Crna Gora (Crna Gora chernogor., Crna Gora, serbian. Crna Gora, alb. Mali i Zi, croatian. Crna Gora, bos'n. Crna Gora), the most frequently used  the "Italianated" variant  «Montenegro»).

It’s a state in the south-eastern of  Europe, which located on the Adriatic coast of the Balkan Peninsula. The name derives from the toponym Black Mountain.

Montenegro is a parliamentary republic, a free, democratic eco-friendly state of social justice, based on the rule of law according to the adopted constitution on the 20th of October in 2007.

The power is divided into legislative, executive and judicial. The president is not formally included in the system of separation of powers. The legislative power is exercised by a unicameral parliament – the assembly. The executive power is exercised by the government (Vlada). The judicial system of two-tier.

The supreme court of Montenegro guarantees the unity of law enforcement practices throughout the country. There is also a constitutional court.


 

 

 

 

Climate and landscape

You can see four of the surface relief In the country at a distance of 200 km. These are Montenegrin littoral, deep karst area, average basin area of Montenegro and the region of high mountains and highlands.

Montenegro has a very complex geological structure. All of its northern part is composed of rocks period of the mesozoic. You can see the karst limestone layers are (limestones and fleece). The seaboard of the rock consists of sandstone, shale and limestone.

 

 

 

 

 

The country is washed by the Adriatic Sea, linking it to Italy at the Apennine peninsula. The country has land borders with Croatia to the west, Bosnia and Herzegovina – in the northwest, Serbia – in the northeast, Kosovo to the east and Albania to the south-east. Montenegro  was a part of confederal State Union of Serbia and Montenegro to June of 2006, and occupied  13.5% of its total territory.

The independence of Montenegro was adopted in June 3, 2006. 672 656 people lives in Montenegro (62% montenegrins, 14.6 muslim bosniaks, serbs 9.3, 6.6 albanians) according to the census in 1991.

 The area of Montenegro  is 13 812 km. Montenegrins and serbs have a common language (montenegrin majority of the population is considered a dialect of serbian, see the poll results in the native language) and religion (orthodox christianity).

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Climate

It’s a moderate continental in the north of Montenegro, the mediterranean is  on the Adriatic coast.

Summer is usually a long and hot (23-25 ° C) and fairly dry, winter is  short and cool (3-7 ° C) in the coastal area. It’s moderately warm  in summer (19-25 ° C) and relatively cold in winter (5 to -10 ° C), precipitation falls mainly in the form of snow in mountain areas.

Precipitation falls are from 500 to 1500 mm per year, mostly in the form of rain, falls more than 3000 mm in the mountains near the coast. Snow lies up to 5 months of the year in the northern regions of Montenegro. The number of sunny hours per year: in Igalo - 2386, in Ulcinj – 2700 ..
